Gebelik Ve Alt Gastrointestinal Sistem Kanamaları
Anahtar Kelimeler
Pregnancy causes anatomical and physiological changes
in the gastrointestinal tract. The process of evaluating the presence,
severity, and hospitalization of lower GI bleeding in pregnant women is similar
to that of other non-pregnant adult populations. Increasing blood volume,
intra-abdominal pressure due to the growth of the uterus during pregnancy and
the resulting venous stasis in the perianal region are physiological reasons
that increase the risk of hemorrhoids and are the most common cause of lower GI
bleeding. If lower GI endoscopy is thought to be more useful than conservative
treatment for the diagnosis and treatment of lower GI bleeding, it is a
low-risk procedure and should be performed in pregnant women.
