Multivitamin supplements are widely used all over the
world for their potantiel health benefits. Studies have shown that 80% of
cancer patients take multivitamin and/or mineral supplements. Although a few
studies on the effect of multivitamin use on disease in cancer patients have
shown a small reduction in mortality in specific patient groups, in general,
the use of theese supplements has not been found to contrribute to cancer
mortality and quality of life.
