Endoskopik İşlem Uygulanan Geriatrik Hastalarda Antikoagülan Yönetimi

Anticoagulation therapy management in endoscopic
interventions is difficult. Because interruption of anticoagulation temporarily
increases the risk of thromboembolism. At the same time, anticoagulant therapy
given to prevent thromboembolism in patients is associated with an increased
risk of bleeding in endoscopic procedures. In addition, data to guide the
management of patients receiving anticoagulants are limited. This chapter will
review the peri-procedural management of patients receiving anticoagulants.
