Due to its hypervascular structure, the liver is
highly susceptible to metastasis via the hematogenous route. Therefore,
metastatic tumors constitute the majority of liver cancers. Malignancies
originating from the gastrointestinal tract (GIS), especially colorectal
cancers, are prominent in older populations. Urgently evaluating this
condition, which affects the patient’s life expectancy and comfort, and
planning treatment strategies with surgical, oncological, and radiation
oncological teams after identifying the primary malignancy is urgent and
crucial.
