Thyroid-stimulating hormone secreting pituitary adenoma (TSHoma) is one of the rare causes of thyrotoxicosis. TSH itself causes overstimulation of the thyroid gland and, as a result, oversecretion of free thyroxine and triiodothyronine. The diagnosis is usually made during investigating inappropriate TSH elevation or pituitary incidentaloma. Herein, the diagnosis and management of TSHoma has been tried to be summarized with current information.
