In this chapter, the
undesirable behaviors exhibited by students in the classroom were tried to be defined within the framework of behavioral sciences.
Focusing on the most likely behaviors to be seen in the classroom, the different sources of
undesirable behaviors were specified. In addition, the chapter extensively discusses how different approaches can
be used in managing undesirable student behaviors and the mechanisms of their effects, particularly
in the context of reward and punishment practices. In this context, the sources of student behaviors
based on family, individual, teacher, curriculum and physical conditions are explained and a
general framework was tried to be presented regarding the behavior change process in the management of
student behaviors. Finally, the equivalents of student behaviors in the disciplinary
regulations were explained.
