The surgeon is an indispensable element for an operation or
surgical intervention, and it is of great importance that the materials used by the surgeon and the
positions given to the patient are appropriate in order for the surgical procedure to be more ergonomic,
faster, in accordance with sterility rules and with the least morbidity and mortality. Surgical materials
are diverse in open surgery and laparoscopic surgery, and the surgeon's preferences vary
depending on the purpose of use and type of surgery. Surgical positions should be chosen to best suit the
surgical procedure to be performed and prevent the surgeon from getting tired during the surgery.
