Today,
non-governmental organizations, which have many functions and advantages, work
for different purposes and goals. In this context, non-governmental
organizations have many roles and functions such as contributing to the
solution of individual and community problems, defending the rights of
underdeveloped individuals, providing social services for countries and
societies, creating nature and environmental awareness, supporting the
development of undeveloped countries, helping people to mature their ideas and
attitudes. These organizations, which have the skills and capacity to work
effectively in many fields, support countries in different areas and issues
such as strategy development, policy making and service provision. One of the
organizations working in this context is non-governmental organizations in the
form of associations and foundations working on migrant issues. Such
organizations can carry out their activities in various fields in order to
solve the problems faced by migrant individuals and groups in their new
countries of settlement and to meet their needs and expectations. Therefore, in
this study, the contribution and support provided by non-governmental
organizations in the process of migrants' search for welfare is discussed.
